VAVO Member Sibylle Erle, Reader in English Literature at Bishop Grosseteste University recently published a two-part series on the British Association for Romantic Studies Blog about William Blake’s Visionary Heads in celebration of the bicentenary of their creation in September 1820. Part 1 is about Blake’s drawing of Pindar the Greek Poet and Lais the Courtesan, drawn on 18 September 1820. Part 2 is about the Visionary Heads and Blake’s attitude to death.
